Boston College - Beacon Street Garage

CSI was awarded the contract to perform multiple repairs and improvements at Beacon St. Garage at Boston College.

In an effort to maintain the integrity and value of the concrete structure, and to forestall future maintenance costs to the owner, CSI completed extensive concrete repairs as well as sealant and waterproofing installation.

CSI completed substantial concrete repairs on the surface of the garage deck, as well as to the structure's critical support beams and columns. An engineered designed shoring scheme was instituted to maintain structural integrity while the work was completed.

The waterproofing sealant was entirely replaced on the second level of the garage and a waterproof traffic coating system was installed at the center strip of the garage.

Additionally, CSI was contracted to manage the installation of an improved plumbing system servicing the garage and the adjoining football stadium.

All work was completed ahead of schedule and on budget, with minimal impact on the operations of the garage.
